Hello again! It’s time for a little dose of color today — namely in the form of the Pantone Color Report, hot off the presses in time for New York Fashion Week. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite posts I share all year. (This is my sixth ‘translation’ of this report!) For a fun trip down a colorful memory lane, take a peek at the reports from 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013!
Last year’s report felt brighter, but 2018 is still super vibrant. As always, picking favorites is a tough game to play… but this year, I’m loving the purples of the bunch: Ultra Violet, Spring Crocus, and Pink Lavender. I can’t pinpoint why, but they stand out to me. Chili Oil and Emperador feel more like fall, but time will tell how they translate next spring. I’m always amazed at how Pantone can predict these trends. Better them than me… 😉
What colors are you feeling for next spring? (With fall and winter looming, I don’t mind looking ahead!)
